Lakuna is an electronic instrumental project begun by drummer & Lakuna Design co-founder David Narcizo after Throwing Muses first split up following their 1996 Limbo album.  Enlisting the help of studio engineer Frank Gardner, a 12-inch called So Happy was first released and then a full-length album called Castle of Crime. The album's guest musicians included Bernard Georges (Throwing Muses) on bass, Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses, 50 Foot wave) on guitar loops, Belly's Tom Gorman on bass, Lakuna Design co-founder Misi Narcizo on piano and keyboards, and Frank Gardner on bass and bass synthesizer.

Two outtakes from the session are included here.
