Dave Narcizo
Dave began his working life as a musician. As drummer for Throwing Muses (4AD Records / Sire) he spent over 25 years exclusively touring and recording. In 1999 he released an instrumental project as Lakuna entitled Castle of Crime (4AD Records). With expert guidance from 4ad's design agency V23 (Vaughan Oliver, Chris Bigg), Dave began to shift his focus to graphic arts. He and his wife Misi formed Lakuna Design in 1998.
Misi Narcizo
Misi began her design career working for lighting and stage production designer LeRoy Bennett (Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, et al). She brought her fine art collage work to a digital medium; providing projection art for tours and events including the MTV Video Awards, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more. She shifted her focus to the classroom where she taught middle school graphic design. In 1998 she and her husband Dave formed Lakuna Design.
